I have been considering buying a Prius as soon as I finish paying off my Toyota truck.  The Prius will cost about $3,000 more than my truck did, and the gas mileage shift from 17mpg to 45mpg will certainly be a cost effective move for me.

Cassie,

I think you will love the Prius. I have driven cross-country with everything my son needed for his first year of college in the back and still gotten better than 45 MPG. One stretch of slow mountain roads we got more than 52mpg.

I have been really pleasantly surprised by how much the hatch at the back will hold.

Almost every time I see the Prius written up in the press, there are three or four people who feel the need to psychoanalyze owners.

Personally, I love the idea of not polluting. I love the feel of the transmission. High gas mileage is just a plus.

At 45mpg you are actually getting what the Manufacturer rating is of 45/48 mpg.  I have never owned a car that actually sustained the stated, manufacture mpg rating. I wonder if everyone else here is as lucky.

Everyone likes The Prius. I consider contacting with your company.
